Vulcanus 2013-2014... ¡allá voy!

Sí señores. Me han dado la beca Vulcanus. Después de infierno de papeleo, casi no entregar los papeles porque era tarde, y estrés por querer saber algo nuevo... ¡me han concedido la beca Vulcanus!

Así que... empiezo a publicar este blog para contar mis peripecias por tierras Niponas. Aunque... no llego allí hasta el 1 de septiembre (después de 21 horas de vuelo). Pero les iré poniendo al día de todo lo que descubra.

Y bueno, para aquellos no iniciados... ¿En qué consiste la beca Vulcanus? Pues en un intercambio de estudiantes europeos con estudiantes japoneses para hacer prácticas en empresas un año. Durante los primeros 4 meses, se asiste a un curso intensivo de japonés en Tokyo, que según cuenta internet, es mortal. Una vez consigues sobrevivir 4 meses de idioma, te enfrentas a estar 8 meses trabajando para una compañía japonesa. ¿Cuál? Pues... debido a ciertas normas de confidencialidad no se hasta dónde puedo contar. En cuanto me entere de lo que puedo decir y de lo que no, les contaré con todo lujo de detalles.

Lo que sí puedo decir, es que voy a la bonita ciudad de Atsugi, en la prefectura de Kanagawa, a los pies de la majestuosa Ooyama (Montaña Grande). Una ciudad de 200.000 habitantes (un poco más que mi amada Lanzarote) que tiene funciones principalmente de ciudad dormitorio de Yokohama (y Tokyo).

Pero bueno, dejemos Atsugi para cuando llegue allí, en Enero. Por ahora sigo en Madrid, terminando los últimos detalles del Máster, y preparándome para la primera puesta en contacto con el Vulcanus: la reunión previa informativa en Bruselas.

Allí nos darán toda la información relativa a nuestro próximo viaje, y podremos conocer a los demás participantes. Gracias a mis dotes investigadoras (o de acosador), he conseguido entrar ya en contacto con algunos de los participantes, pero... Todavía quedan muchos por conocer.

Bueno, y terminando este post, ver un poco la dinámica del blog. Intentaré (entre otras cosas para practicar) publicar todo en 4 idiomas: Español, Inglés, Alemán y Japonés. Lo de japonés... será al principio abusando del Google Translate. A lo largo del tiempo, intentaré poder hacerlo yo solo, y corregir los errores de los post anteriores. Como todavía no tengo mucho que contar, no creo que escriba muy a menudo. Haré un especial con "Qué hacemos los Vulcanus en Bruselas" cuando vuelva, y quizás lo dosifico para tener más entradas, pero bueno, ya se verá. Lo que sí que voy a intentar es mantener un ritmo de una entrada por semana una vez llegue a Japón. También intentaré que los post sean más cortos, con fotos, y vídeos, y quién sabe, a lo mejor un videoblog. Intentaré hacer también colaboraciones con mis colegas Vulcanus, pero todo eso hay tiempo de verlo.

Yes men. I am in the Vulcanus Program. After a hell of bureaucracy, almost not filling in the forms because I was late, and the stress of wanting to know anything new... I am in the Vulcanus Program!

So... I started this blog so I can tell you my adventures on Japanese lands. Although... I do not get there until the 1st of September (after 21 flying hours). But I will tell you everything that happens.

For all of the not initiated... What is the Vulcanus Program about? It is an international exchange between Japanese and European students, to do an internship during a year. The first 4 months you attend a intensive language course in Tokyo that, according what I have seen on the Internet, it is deadly. When you survive the 4 months course, you start working on a Japanese company for 8 months. Which one? Well... due to some confidentiality rules, I am not sure what can or can not say about that. When I know, I will tell you everything.

What can I tell is, that I will be on the beautiful city of Atsugi, on the Kanagawa prefecture, at the feet of the majestic Ooyama (Great Mountain). A city with 200.000 inhabitants (a little more than my beloved Lanzarote) and it's main function is as a dorm city for Yokohama (and Tokyo).

But well... let Atsugi for when I arrive there, in January. Now I am still in Madrid, finishing the last details about my Máster, and getting ready for the first contact with Vulcanus: the preliminary information meeting in Brussels.

There they will give us all the information regarding our oncoming travel, and we could get to know all the other participants. Thanks my researcher's abilities (or stalker's), I get to get in contact with some of the other participants, but... There are still many to know.

Well, and finishing this post, I wanted to show you the blog dynamic. I will try (for practice among others) to post everything in 4 languages: Spanish, English, German and Japanese. About Japanese... at the beginning I will abuse the Google Translator. As time goes by, I will try to do it by myself, and correct the mistakes on the previous posts. As I have yet not much to tell you, I do not think that I will write often. I will do an special about "What we the Vulcanus people do in Brussels" when I come back, and maybe, I ration it so I can get more entries. What I will certainly try is to write on a weekly basis once I am in Japan. Also... I will try to make the post shorter, with photos, videos, and... who knows, maybe a videoblog. I will try also to make collaborations with other Vulcanus colleagues, but that in its own time.

So... Ich fange um diese Blog zu Schreiben an, so ich kann meine Abenteuer in Japanische Länder. Trotzdem... ich komme nicht bis der erste September an (danach 21 Stunde fliegen). Aber ich werde dir erzählen alles dass ich finde.

Gut... für alle die nicht eingeweiht sind... Was ist der Vulcanus Programm? Es ist ein internationaler Austausch zwischen Japanische Studenten und Europäische Studenten für ein Praktikum durch ein Jahr. Die erste vier Monaten, man muss ein intensiv Sprachkurs in Tokyo machen, dass ist, wie Internet sagt, tödlich. Wenn du der Sprachkurs überlebst, du muss durch acht Monaten in ein Japanische Firma arbeiten. Welche? Ok... es gibt Geheimhaltung Regeln, und ich bin nicht sicher was kann ich sagen oder was kann ich nicht. Aber... wenn ich finde was ich sagen kann, werde ich euch alles erzählen.

Was kann ich sagen ist, dass ich in der schöne Stadt von Atsugi wohnen werde, in der Kanagawa Präfektur, zu Füßen des Berges Ooyama (Hoch Berg). Er ist ein Stadt von 200.000 Einwohner (ein bisschen mehr als meine beliebt Lanzarote), deren Hauptfunktion ist eine Zimmer Stadt für Yokohama (und Tokyo) sein.

Aber, lassen wir Atsugi für wann ich da sein, in Januar. Jetzt bin ich noch in Madrid, mein Máster enden, und mich vorbereiten auf die erste Kontakt mit Vulcanus: die bisherig informative Treffen in Brüssel.

Wie ich nicht viele Dinge zu erzählen habe, werde ich nicht oft schreiben.
